I'm Jen Taylor.

Jen Nicole Taylor

I'm a front-end web developer, podcast addict, and climber currently based in Toronto, Canada.

I am focused on building an inclusive and universally accessible web. I’m looking for opportunities to learn new languages and frameworks, improve my JavaScript skills, and give back to Toronto’s tech community.

When I'm not glued to my screen, I'm most likely bouldering at the climbing gym, doing yoga, or mentoring at Ladies Learning Code. I also like to sip tea, linger in bookstores, and listen to podcasts while I cook.

API Web Application

Open Season uses the Google Maps API to plot the nearest farmer’s markets for the selected month. I built my own API database to store the market information and display seasonal produce.

Nomad Travel helps users find the ideal travel destination. The fully-responsive site uses a natural language form to filter information from the API and return only the relevant results.

I produced a responsive website based on the Zap psd. The site uses features like Flickity to maintain the integrity of the design at various breakpoints.
